Africa never stops to surprise me. Sometime I wish I could just wake up from the nightmares of African governments and organisations.
“Togo have been banned from the next two Africa Cup of Nations following their withdrawal from this year’s tournament. The Confederation of African football (Caf) also fined the Hawks $50,000 for quitting the competition in the wake of a gun attack on the team bus in Angola“-BBC
CAF has gone crazy.
It is Togo who should be seeking legal action against CAF and the Angolan government for not providing adequate information about security in Angola.
Seriously I am short of words to express my disappointment in CAF. Whoever made the decisions is completely insane and out of his or her mind.
What are we going to do about the people who lost their lives? Some families will never be the same again as a result of the avoidable tragedies in Angola which was completely the fault of the Angolan government and the recklessness of CAF.
Togo should ignore the fine and even withdraw (by itself) from CAF competetition for life until CAF becomes “human” in nature and reasonable in thinking. This is nonsense and completely idiotic on the part of CAF.

the competition should not have been hosted by the angolans in the first place. next time caf should consider stability in deciding the host country

Togo should not only withdraw from CAF but claim damages. The families that lost their beloved ones should also be compensated.

The CAF belongs to Egypt as every one knows, we African countries we should work together to transfer the CAF out of Egypt to improve the Football in Africa.

Isaa hayatou and his cohorts must be kicked out of african football before we can have sanity in the sy system, because i can not imagine the decision of caf on the Togo national team. The decision must be reversed.

What a heartless decision by C.A.F,
They are telling us that football is more important to human’s lives. They should put themself as example, if anyone of them is seriously sick, would he/she be able to go to work. But now we are talking about lost of someone lives, hot death of stars of a country, the bread winners of families.
Am not a togo, I’m a Nigerian, but I feel for them.
These people called caf disgrace the whole Africa, and make it cleared to the whole world that as they were black are also their heart black and I pray that those behind this decision will also one by one experience much of these pains in their families.
