My Generation Also Wasted Away

Living in denial does not obscure the realities of our lives, how miserable this country Nigeria has become.

My Generation Also Wasted Away

By Adeola Aderounmu

That my generation also wasted away is one thing I have come to accept. I never saw it coming (especially when I was a little boy, full of hopes and dreams of what I thought the future would be and what I would make of it).

Now, rather than shape our days and prepare our children for the future, the people I grew up with are fighting tooth and nails to ”vote”. That people are fighting to vote rather than fighting for freedom is a big disappointment. My generation has also come to symbolize emptiness, vanity and hopelessness.

To understand my essays, you have to brush aside your personal achievements or the achievements of some of the people in my (or your) generation. You must have a holistic mind of viewing the whole picture. If you tell me about people that made it in the rat race, then we should look at 200 million others who are members of the community of the poverty capital of the world.

The useless government of Nigeria made a decision to shut down universities so that election can hold in Nigeria. In 2023? I cannot find all the words to empty my frustrations and sadness in the few lines you read here.

That kind of decision is not only stupid and senseless, but also extremely irritating. It’s the kind of decision that make you rate the mental capacities of rulers of Africa very low. To make such a decision means that there is absence of minimum-level brain activities in such adults, a sort of mental retardation, so so speak.

For everyday that passes, for every hour that we wait or waste and hope on stupid Nigerian elections, the day of glory for the unborn generation shifts forward significantly. It is a very, very sad situation.

Again, this is 2023. In several countries around the world, elections are done so effortlessly that you would not even see a paper blown off the table. Personally, I have participated in several elections that allowed me to cast my vote even before the election day. No sweat, no stress, no labour. Just a walk in and a walk out after ticking some boxes. And we are all humans? So, how do we think in Nigeria?

Nigeria will never get to that point where sensible elections will be done, even 1 million years from now because Nigeria is a country founded on British fraud. Nigeria is a business enterprise created for the pleasure of the British. Nigeria is never going to be able to organize and prosper as a country.

The country is so disorganized and stressful that it is probably the worst place in the world today to be born or live. Do you think that the electoral commission in Nigeria can send people’s voting cards or registration numbers to their homes by post? The answer is NO!

There is a price, a cost for freedom but what commonsense can accomplish is priceless. Freedom for the nations entrapped in Nigeria represent the last hope for the unborn generations.

The voting papers or cards will surely disappear in transit and those that will arrive would be distorted and manipulated. The level of criminality and dishonesty in Nigeria is way out of this planet. It is in all facets and aspects of life. I posted some copies of my latest books to Nigeria in February 2022. One year later, they have not arrived the destination to which they were sent. Thieves everywhere! The books I posted to other countries in the world arrived safely.

Do you see what is going on with money change and new currency in Nigeria? That is another story for another day. If not for madness and mental retardation of Buhari and Emefiele, I do not know what else in the world that would qualify 2 idiots who changed old currencies to new currencies that were not printed. Just imagine the suffering and how people are dropping dead or going mad by taking off their clothes in banking halls and other places like the gas stations.

Let me tell you something. There are no solutions to Nigeria’s problems for as long as the people think that elections are the solutions. We have been on this trail even before the 1959 elections, if we draw our attention to just the year before the scam called independence. Personally, as a long-standing blogger, a consistent one for that matter, I have maintained that Nigeria has no business with elections.

In the time past, I thought that if we organize the system and become normal people, that we could arrange something acceptable and sensible. But now, Nigeria does not even have a reason to remain a country, so conducting elections make no sense. In the face of the reality of the diverse nationalities that cannot have a common goal, I have come to terms that something that did not work for more than 100 years will never work. It must take madness to think that Nigeria will work.

It pierced my heart, and virtually I bleed, for I do not understand why anybody that has brain cells would want to vote in or for Nigeria. Why? I have been convinced before 2011 that Nigeria will never make it through elections. Was it about 10 years ago that I wrote ”Why God will not save Nigeria”? In many ways, I have been spot-on. I will only repeat here that 20 years from now, Nigeria will be worse than it is today if the country is still in existence.

We need clarity in our minds and in our heads (brains), that even after the disintegration of Nigeria, the various nations entrapped within it would need between 50 to 100 years to normalize, make progress and establish permanent prosperity for their citizens and unborn generations.

So even if Nigeria disintegrates today, my generation remain wasted. There is no more cure for my generations. It is over. We are just waiting to grow old and die. Living in denial does not obscure the reality of our lives. But there is hope for our children and children’s children if we get back our entrapped nations today. Then we can start the journey to rebuild, the journey to reinstate and the journey to repair what was truncated by amalgamation of people with different destinies, cultures, traditions and ideologies. Nigeria is a volatile, destructive mix.

For every day that passes, for every hour that we wait and hope on stupid Nigerian elections, the day of glory for the unborn generations shifts forward. It is a very, very sad situation.

In my opinion, this fraud called Nigeria is the only country in the world that did not make progress since the 1960s. I cannot point out one country in the world that was prosperous in the 1950s where the people are living in extreme poverty in 2023. While it got better for others, Nigeria became the dustbin of the world. The elites in Fraudgeria have made a mess of existence for the masses.

It is amazing how I have written about the same thing since 2002. I mean I have given more than 2 decades of my life writing the same thing, week in, week out. Me, I salute myself. I could have looked the other way when I left Bongo in 2002 but I saw it as a call to remind myself and the people who care to listen what we missed out and how we can rescue the future for the unborn generations.

My generation has a few years left to get something right. Imagine if we convert the years of our lives that are left to days or even weeks, perhaps it may open our eyes to the essence of life and how life should be ”live” and ”let’s live”. Life is transient. Our days are soon gone, and we have so far failed to justify our existences on this planet. It’s a huge shame to all creatures on the geographical space named Nigger-Area by the gangster colonialists.

Any generation of Yoruba that want to enjoy their existence and purpose in life on the land that their ancestors left behind for them must fight early and take back control of their lives. My generation has failed and is wasted. My parents died living on hopes that Nigeria will be better. My grandparents did the same. I refused to go to my grave thinking Nigeria will make it under a senseless unitary system.

Voting, participating or getting involved in Nigerian elections means that you have no sense of history and you are very selfish. You are actively destroying the unborn generations. Your legacy is a scam. In 4 years’ time, you will still be worse off and still be voting, senselessly!

No matter what happens, no matter how it goes, these words I write will be golden because the nations entrapped in Nigeria will remain the key to a happy life, a fulfilled existence and permanent prosperity for the slaves living in present day Nigeria, when they become free. The nations entrapped in Nigeria represent the last hope for the unborn generations.

There is a price for freedom but what commonsense can accomplish is priceless.

British-Nigeria: The Land Of Their Dreams

The British-Nigeria colony groom criminals called politicians who have the audacity to enforce poverty by enslaving the masses who in turn chose to be myopic, (stupidly) resilient, possessing a blackholed hope that deserve to be studied in anthropology worldwide.

The dreamers will go to the polls and choose among 3 major criminals in the land. What a country!

British-Nigeria: The Land Of Their Dreams

By Adeola Aderounmu

It is time to write again about the useless process (called election) that is about to take place in the British established colony called Nigeria. If someone had told me in 2018 that Nigeria will still be a country in 2023, I would have disputed it. The reason was/is because of the momentum that came with the aspiration for the re-establishment of the Yoruba Country and the Igbo Country.

These 2 countries that were destroyed by the British through colonization and deceits were on a run to self-determination again, but that positive aspiration was truncated when the Nigeria government headed by one Buhari kidnapped the leader of the Igbo Country, Nnamdi Kanu, in Kenya and forced him to an illegal trial in Abuja, Nigeria. To this day, the trial is ongoing and the travails of Nnamdi Kanu has now resulted in ill-health that may take his life, if unattended to.

The terror acts and gangsterism of the blood thirsty Buhari government were also unleashed on the home of the leaders of the Yoruba Country. Massacres were carried out at the home of Chief Sunday Adeyemi, aka Sunday Igboho but he escaped to Benin Republic which incidentally is part of the Yoruba Country that the French colonial burglars cut away from the main Yoruba Country that is concentrated in the useless country called Nigeria that was formed by the British. The madness of the Buhari-Osinbajo was extended to Benin Republic when the duo, with the help of terror-inclined Nigerian security forces, attempted to kidnap Chief Sunday Igboho but failed.

How can you (if you are normal) agree to go to the polls and choose between 3 criminals, who along with thousand others should be in prison for the rest of their lives. How?

The events that have happened in terrorists-dominated Nigeria since the truncation of the independence aspirations of both the Yoruba and Igbo Countries may have shown that more than 200 million people living across the British-formulated geographical area may have decided to live in Nigeria as it is, the country of their dream so to say. The most singular evidence that these people are living their dreams is their willingness to participate in the planned 2023 elections.

The elections would make it possible for these dreamers to choose among 3 major criminal elements in the land. Atiku, Tinubu and Obi are 3 major frontliners in the elections. We are at a point that I have argued about since 2011. We are at a point that I have written about for more than 20 years. Yes, for more than 2 decades, and I am still writing about it, the same thing. How do you rate my consistency? I have already given myself the award: The most consistent blogger in Africa.

How can you (if you are normal) go to the polls and choose between 3 criminals who, along with thousand others, should be sentenced to life imprisonment. Considering the amount of monies that Atiku, Obi and Tinubu have stolen together, with the consequences of more than 100 million people living in poverty, unsure of the next meal, the 3 of them should not even see daylight anymore. They are hardcore, unrepentant criminals.

So, we are back where we have always been. At a point when we can make life changing decisions. But these people called Nigerians have placed these 3 main criminals on a scale, they have rated their criminalities and found them desirable from different but mainly useless mentalities.

Listen to them. Obi is better, he is younger, he had not stolen so much as Atiku or Tinubu. The foreign report on his criminal activities do not count. It was ignorance, he was this, he was that, bla, bla bla. Nigerians will defend madness. Are they all mad ni? Tinubu used his money to develop Lagos. Are you mad ni? His money? He made men like Osinbajo, Aregbesola, this, that. Absolute nonsense argument. We may never even know who the original Bola Tinubu was. What we know is that this Tinubu threw away his own identity and stole another. A man nearer to 90 years than 75 may probably come to power to sustain the British colony, for the pleasure of the dead queen. No greater calamity on earth than any election in British-Nigeria.

Another criminal Atiku who single-handedly sold Nigeria to friends and cronies under the pretense of privatization during the corrupt Obasanjo (1999 – 2007) regime, will also attempt to keep the Fulani and the British dream alive. In several essays, I have described Atiku as the world’s greatest political prostitute. No one in history has changed political parties more than Atiku. His desperation for power is extreme and dangerous.

Even Peter Obi, a protégé of Atiku has followed that line of desperation, from APGA to PDP. Obi is now in Labour Party because of the desperation for enrichment and power. If he wins, his first assignment would be to pay huge reparation to the founders and stakeholders in the Labour party. Only idiots do not know that political organisations in Nigeria are investments of the Nigerian elites and the British gangsters headed previously by the late queen.

Under the political arrangements in British-Nigeria, the common people (especially those who cannot come in contact with influence to get good jobs or political contact) are destined to suffer for life, till death! I have also stated several times on “making it in Nigeria” which is possible but does not exclude anyone in that geographical area from living in poverty. For many years, my argument is the same: for as long as you are living in Nigeria, I do not see your escape from poverty. But it all depends on your perspective of the true meaning of life.

The British-Nigerian colony groom criminals called politicians who have the audacity to enforce poverty by enslaving the masses who in turn are myopic, stupidly resilient and possessed with a permanent, black-holed hope that deserves to be study in anthropology at every university in the world.

I do not know how else to express my permanent outrage on why a person will go to the ballot to choose a mad criminal to be his boss or so-called president. Even so, the only thing that validates the election in British-Nigeria is the participation and willingness of the people to be used. For, there could never be any validation or even any useless election if all the 200 million people decide that freedom is the only choice. Election results are already done even before election, but the validation comes from the participation of the slaves who think that their votes actually count.

Now they are under the stupid illusion that a plastic called PVC is their saviour. What an idiotic mentality? PVC? Really? What is wrong with these people? How many times can they be fooled in one life time?

A sane mind should be amused or confused in matters where 200 million people are zombified. Nnamdi Kanu was captured, and several million Igbo rallied thereafter behind Peter Obi, a representative of the establishment meant to keep them in poverty and underdevelopment. How? Millions abandoned the struggle that their leader gave his life for.

The human race will continue to suffer mostly because of treachery and treason amongst kinsmen. The kidnap and incarceration of Kanu would have been a catalyst for freedom if the people are normal. It means that they do not understand the meaning and purpose of life. They choose slavery rather than freedom. It is the same for Yoruba who aligned with Tinubu whilst Sunday Igboho is confined to exile in Benin. Yorubaland will not see progress or peace until the independence of the Yoruba Country is reinstated.

Of course, I do know that it is not that simple, that some Yoruba are in support of Obi or Atiku and some Igbos are in support of Tinubu and Atiku. Whichever way, that everybody slept with heads aligned in the same direction (as in looking forward to election in a slave camp/British-Nigeria) is absurd and abnormal.

I have also mentioned the enthusiasm with which I anticipated the 1979 elections. Yes, 1979! It is the same mad enthusiasm that several millions of Nigerians are expressing together. That means this generation of Nigerians will perish in a slave camp. Their children and grandchildren will be born into willful slavery. The same cycle will be repeated. Some will find good jobs; millions will live and die in abject poverty. Some will travel abroad where some will make it, and many will continue to live like slaves and still perish (even while abroad).

Therefore, not supporting The Yoruba Country and the Igbo Country is an aspiration for self-inflicted woes. Speaking of elections in British-Nigeria, participating in it, validating it and hoping in it is nothing but absolute madness. People who join in British-Nigerian elections are of different categories I have discovered. Some people will defend Nigeria to defend their “good” or “comfortable” statuses in the society. They are afraid of change and a system that will prosper all and sundry. This category are people with jobs, businesses and interests that must not be altered. They are insecure. They will support anything as long as it makes them feel good while the suffering masses remain poor and hopeless.

The political elites have remained the most consistent category since the invention of British-Nigeria. No matter their rivalry and hatred for one another, the political status must be maintained. In the end what goes round, comes around in the political circles. That is why the major political parties PDP and APC are in principle like identical twins. Never a love lost.

Then we have the foolish masses. If you want to know about them, please listen to the music of late Fela Kuti. They have been traumatized so much that they worship men and money. They are religious, hope for divine intervention even when all the powers (like abstaining totally from elections) are in their hands.

There is no time today to look at how the North, South, East and West differ in ideology. I have to stop writing somewhere. But you know surely that if the Yoruba Country and the Igbo country emerge, it will lead to the emergence of the Arewa Country, the Middle-Belt country and The Niger Delta Country. Just imagine the world we can leave behind for our children when all these independent countries compete for development and progress in infrastructure, education, medicine, sport and technology. Just imagine how prosperous your grandchildren would be in their time on earth, when you are gone. There is nothing sweeter in life than independence and freedom. Nothing!

This is what the choice is all about: living in slavery and transferring the slavery to your unborn generations, OR fighting/dying for freedom so that the unborn generations can live in a world of progress, harmony and fair pursuit of happiness in the various lands that their ancestors kept for them before the invasion of the British hoodlums created a disharmony that has now culminated in not just extreme poverty and penury, but a violent, intrusive terrorism that may not just wipe away your existence, but also the genealogy of your existence and the end of your type on the planet.

A Tragic Existence

By Adeola Aderounmu

Did anyone think that Britain would create an artificial African state that would be more powerful or successful than itself? The most single important ray of hope for the people living in the geographical space called Nigeria is to break up the useless, terrorist-infected, terror-controlled country.

A Tragic Existence

Nigeria will remain that failed country that refused to fulfil her potential because that was how it was designed to be. Did anyone think that Britain would create an artificial African state that would become more successful or powerful than itself? Some people have argued that Nigeria is such a mess now because of failed leadership. But have they asked themselves why leaders that initially appeared to be good persons turned out to be criminals and stupid people at the helm of affairs at local, state and federal levels.

Let me be clear, Nigeria was designed as if it would become a world or super power, but it is that same thought of the potentials in the land that have kept the rising population, now more than 200 million people, in hope and bondage for more than 100 years. Do you get it now? The aggregation of the south, west, east and north in 1914 was a perfect recipe for retrogression, failure, disaster and future wars.

This is the end of october 2022 and for me, it sounds like I’m repeating some of the things I worte more than 20 years ago. So imagine if you have been writing about Nigeria for 40 or 60 years, you are writing about the same problems for decades and then somehow some compatriots and people hoping that Nigeria will be better? How? How do I explain to believers in Nigeria that my father and my grandfather had the same hope? Do these new believers descend from space? Were their parents and family members not believers in Nigeria?

Nigeria dealt to some of us a very devastating blow. Nigeria blew our dreams away. All the songs we sang as children and all the hopes we had of what we would be when we grew up all blew in our faces. Yes, some of you got lucky, your dreams came through against all odds. For that I say hats off!

At this end of October, the people called Nigerians have now been re-aggregated mainly into 3 stupid new categories. One for the Tinubus, one for the Atikus and one for the Obis. There are other small aggregations of fools here and there too. They are getting ready for something that I experienced first in 1979 when Awolowo, Waziri, Azikwe, Aminu Kano and Shagari were flagbearers for the 5 or so major political parties in Nigeria.

Please note that I did not at any time in my life studied political science. I knew these politicians because as a 7 year old in 1979, I was fully aware of the challenges that my parents had, so I knew of their wish that Awolowo should become president to solve their life’s problems.

Since UPN won in Lagos State, some of those challenges were met as I went to primary and secondary school for free. In any case, fast forward to 2023 and some people are today having the same hope that me and my parents had in 1979. Do you understand that my parents died never seeing the Nigeria of their dreams?

Do you understand why I can conclude that anyone backing any stupid politician is not a normal human being. How can you wake up one morning and start participating in politics where criminals like Tinubu, Atiku and Obi are the flagbearers? How can you even still be participating in the senseless politics in Nigeria? What is Nigeria to you? Which part of Nigeria still inspires you apart from the music by the youngsters from the south of the Niger? Are you planning to cast your vote and risk in your life in the part of Nigeria controlled by APC or the one controlled by the established terrorist groups?

We shall not find a saint in our regions but we must dismantle Nigeria to even see a new horizon, a new hope and a new dawn for the unborn generations. If you are reading this essay, the Nigeria of your dreams will not come in your lifetime. My parents did not see the Nigeria of their dreams. It was a mirage. We are made to believe and to hope and that is the foundation of Nigeria: Give them hope because that is what slaves need to remain obedient or stupid.

There are choices that will become clear blueprints for the unborn generations. These choices are not available for Nigeria because Nigeria is a house built on sand. What the people entrapped in Nigeria need to do is to set themselves free. They need to go their separate ways and make very solid decisions on how they want to live their lives. They need to discuss about their choices of leaders and make bold plans for the rest of their lives: perhaps some ray of hope to achieve some quality existence before the end of their days.

The people who will establish the Yoruba Nation, the Biafra Republic, the Arewa Country, the Niger Delta Nation and the Republic of the Middle Belt must become selfless when they go their separate ways. They must think with their brains and allow the most progressive members of their countries lead them into the future.

The rancours in the different countries (Yoruba Nation, Biafara, Arewa, Niger Delta, Middle Belt) need to be laid to rest. A common sense ideology of laying the foundation for the future must prevail. The demonic attitude of materialistice possession and folk oppression must evaporate from their mindsets. That stupid, idiotic, moronic, devilish ideology that they used to capture the centre in failed Nigeria must be left back in Nigeria.

In terms of security, these nations must employ all the necessary arsenals at their disposal and they need to cooperate at the international levels to uproot all sorts of terrorism in their respective domains. In the nearest future, Boko Haram and their offshoots must be in the dustbin of history. Kidnapping and all forms of vices in their respetive societies must be zero-ed ASAP.

Priorities should be given to education, health, infrastructure and employment opportunities. Equal opportunities and social justice must prevail. All children must have entitlement to at least 10 years of compulsory free education and laws must be enacted and applied to ensure that compliance come near perfection.

Social welfare and institutions that promote well-being, sense of belonging and sense of social responsibility must be on ground ASAP.

There are so many blueprints that could be copied and adapted to the various peculiarities of the nations that must emerge from failed Nigeria. The Yoruba Country for example was more prosperous in the 1950s than it is today. It is not a bad idea that the blueprints we left back then be re-dusted, updated and adapted to the new world order. Technology and computer advancements can be incorportated in the blueprints to put the Yoruba Country back at the front in the next 3 to 5 decades.

The suceesses of these nations or countries are not tied to our present needs or wants. They must be tied to what is best for our children and the unbron generations.

Anyone still hoping in Nigeria under the status quo will be a fool forever. I hope that a certain generation will read my articles, follow me suggestions, make bold to lay their lives to end the tragic existence of the human race in Nigeria.

The most single important ray of hope for people living in the geographical space called Nigeria is to break up the useless country. They need to retrace their existence as different countries (some listed above), compete with one another for development and set plans for 100 years from now. They must shed their stupid selfish mentalities and plan how their unborn generations can live meaningful and worthwhile lives. Nothing in this life is too late. Our existence has a permanent domino character, therefore the foundation for the good lives of our children’c childrens must be laid now in the different countries to emerge from Nigeria.

Any other suggestion, or the status quo based on senseless morally corrupt and baseless elections (as exemplied by the love and embrace for the 2023 elections) will set Nigeria permanently as the poverty capital of the world. Nigeria will invariably remain the worst place in the world to be born or live. Terrorism will be full-blown, insecurity will reach it’s peak and the meaning and value of life will depreciate even below the lives of earthworms and rats.

Nigeria’s Political And Religious Anomalies

Let it be clear that politics ruined Nigeria by keeping together a useless union of unrelated humans beings. Let it be unambiguous that foreign, imported religions (Islams & Christianity) worked hand in hand with politics to sentence Nigerians to a permanent state of cognitive coma.

Nigeria’s Political And Religious Anomalies.

By Adeola Aderounmu

Often, I felt like I am just repeating myself. So, if my blog posts do not come on regularly, it is because I get the feeling that I have already addressed 99.9% of the issues that Nigerians are nagging about today. Hence, when you open this blog post, you will find related posts on my blog as well.

If you look at the list and number of aspirants for the presidential elections in Nigeria in 2023, you will find names of people who ought to spend the rest of their lives in prison. If these morons are Chinese indigenes, they would have been hanged or amputated for crimes that range from outright stealing to looting, corruption and even crimes against humanity.

One of the saddest news about Nigeria is the acceptance of corruption as a way of life. It seems to be the lifewire of the society. Tell me how else persons living on N18k monthly wage survive. I really do not know how anyone can survive in Nigeria without a monthly wage that is ranges from N100k- 200k a month. I really do not know. But I do know that all the “packaging” they talk about mostly involves illicit deals and corrupt practices. However, it is possible to still earn a decent living in some circumstances.

Now, if more than 150 million people watch as criminals aspire to be presidents, they watch as criminals regroup to capture the various state governors’ offices and other political offices: what does that make of the people themselves? You can keep your answer.

It is not only politics that has destroyed Nigeria. That fact that the politicians and the Queen of England (who bought Nigeria for a few pounds in the early 20th century) have successfully kept Nigeria as a failed investment (and country) simply means that there are actually over 200 million fools parading themselves as Nigerians.

I mean, how can you say Nigeria is a “country”?

I am a Yoruba with my residence close to the Atlantic Ocean. What do I have to do with a terrorist from the Sahel who claims to be a fellow citizen with me? That fellow must be mad and totally crazy. We do not speak the same language; we do not understand each other. We have totally different cultures. I am educated, in speech and reading. He chose not to go to school, mostly. Even when he does, he does not think with his brain box.

We can all in many ways analyze the stupidity of the existence of “one Nigeria”. What does that even mean? I am sorry for the killing of that Deborah lady in Sokoto. It was carried out by the useless people of Northern Nigeria. That was not the first killing of innocent person because of their faith. It is not going to be the last. Even before Nigeria and the Government became a terror organization, these killings have gone unabated.  We cannot even begin to talk about the genocide in Nigeria since 2015.

One Pantami who is the so-called minister of communication in terror-governed Nigeria is himself a terrorist who had supervised the killings of innocent people. These 200 million people stood aside and did nothing. The man claiming to be president Buhari had been indicated as the spokesman of Boko Haram since the regime of Jonathan. Till date, there is no counter publication anywhere in the world that Buhari is not the spokesman of Boko Haram. 200 million zombies stood aside and looked. Even a man called Osinbajo Yemi became the vice-president of a suspected terror kingpin. Yemi is called a pastor.

Let it be clear that politics ruined Nigeria by keeping together a useless union of unrelated human beings. Let it not be unambiguous that foreign religions (Islam and Christianity) worked hand in hand with politics to sentence Nigerians to a permanent state of cognitive coma. An average Nigerian thinks of the scriptures rather than using his/mentality to think about what is right/just. Religion contributed massively to the mass poverty in Nigeria. Rather than seek social justice and welfare of all citizens, Nigerians turned to foreign gods. If prayers do solve problems, Nigeria should be a paradise and the best place to live in the world. As you read this, Nigeria is among the worst countries to be born or live in 2022. Still people are looking for evidence that their religions do not help in nation building.

The state and the church should be separated to adjust to current global settings. Religion should be prohibited where it offers solutions to what the government and citizens should be responsible for. Religion and places of worship should be pulled down at all government offices. There should be zero tolerance to preaching, praying and propagation of religion at workplaces and even public places that are not designated as worship centers.

I could not possibly discuss all about religion on my post or blog.

It is very imperative that the Yoruba separate herself from failed, terror governed Nigeria. EVEN if it seems that the struggle to achieve the Yoruba Nation has not been smooth, moreso because of internal rife within the struggle itself, the outcome-an independent Yoruba Nation will be forever more desirable that the slavery that persist in Nigeria.

On a personal note, I do not look forward to any useless election in Nigeria in 2023. Before then, my wish is for the final disintegration of Nigeria, that my people will be free. That my people will have peace in Yorubaland. That they will live together in religious tolerance and not rubbing their foreign gods on one another’s faces.

My wish is for a prosperous Yoruba land where education will be a priority. Farming will be a golden feat. I look forward to planned housing units, glory in sports and academics. I look forward to the next 40 to 50 years (when I am no more) where Yoruba children will only travel abroad for short holidays and to exchange knowledge and ideas.

When Yoruba Nation is free from almajiris and parasitic North, when we are free from murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gangsters, and terrorists, we will be able to think straight and focus our energies and aspirations to the pursuit of happiness. Only then are we free as YORUBA. Yoruba at home and abroad must join hands to preserve our land, and to ensure that our children and grandchildren are safe in the comfort of the land that our ancestors fought and kept for us. We owe the unborn generations that much.

We cannot go on pretending!

Why Yoruba May Never Unite

Why Yoruba Will Never Unite

By Adeola Aderounmu

Adeola Aderounmu

Greed, selfishness, self-centeredness, wickedness, pride, foolishness, arrogance, stupidity.

It is not all that easy to find the exact reasons why Yoruba will never unite but I will try based mostly on recent findings/events.

From a historical perspective, one should be worried how a people so blessed with wisdom, culture and geographical location became slaves in the first place. How can a people so articulate be subdued by any other human race from far or near? If you are more interested in history than me, you should do the findings.

Then if you come to the last century and read the story of Awolowo and Akintola, Obasanjo and Abiola, Obasanjo and Ige, and many more: you will be not only devastated but also heartbroken. A combination of human knowledge that could have taken Yoruba to the top of the world also became a added catalyst to the demolition of the Yoruba kingdom.

I will fast forward to recent years. The last 2 years of my life. But you need to understand that I am in my twenty something year of writing daily/weekly/regularly about the failed country called Nigeria. Nigeria is another story on her own, now probably the worst country to be born or live on a global scale. I should not even bother to expand this essay along the Nigerian line. In my understanding, Nigeria is the greatest tragedy the world had seen since the end of WW2. I have proved that in more than 200 essays.

So about 2 years ago I really got more serious about reclaiming the independence of the Yoruba Nation which was lost totally when the useless former military dictator called Gowon erased the regional system of government and replaced it with a moronic unitary system based on creation of states. Western Nigeria was already under threat co-existing with other regions together in a disunited Nigeria. But after the civil war, senseless idiots like Gowon and other individuals who lack vision, foresight and sense of a civilized future used their military dictatorship to remove the Yoruba Nation (Western Nigeria) from the world map.

Two years ago, I became a very active member of the Ilana Omo Yoruba. It was after I carefully identified the group under the leadership of Professor Akintoye as the guiding ship to the promise land, back to Yoruba Nation (back to Western Nigeria).

Let us be clear, despite the problems between Awolowo and Akintola, Western Nigeria up to the 1960s was one of the most developed places in the world. The education was excellent attracting students and teachers from all over the world. The health infrastructure was the same class as England, and it attracted dignitaries from around the world including the Saudi princess and kings. Our roads and other infrastructure were all good. Employment opportunities abound in western Nigeria (even till today, 2022) and the farming schemes were world class. Western Nigeria was on her way to the top of the world before the military mostly headed by Fulani of uncivilized Northern Nigeria brought down the glory of Western Nigeria.

In the last 2 years, I have seen, heard, and tasted of the disunity of the Yoruba people in terrorized-infested Nigeria and in the abroad (worldwide). I have seen how the Ilana Omo Yoruba became infiltrated, polarized, monetarized, and seriously deviated from the dreams of the leader-Professor Akintoye. I am sure Akintoye had made some many concessions and compromise such that the situation went out of hand.  The compromise must have been many. I was at a meeting where Baba said no one should be booted out of it. If I was to decide, I would have booted that element out of the meeting because it was clear the person came to divide and destroy the meeting.

My point is that all sorts of elements and criminals, all sort of judases, robbers, sycophants and unserious persons, who sadly, are Yoruba, came to the Ilana Omo Yoruba, just to destroy it. You know what? They succeeded. From what I heard, Ilana Omo Yoruba now has many branches, patches, factions, and several meetings that are not coordinated or related to one another.

How can the world take us seriously when we are disunited? How can we achieve YORUBA NATION when we are not working in the same direction? Why is it hard to work together? I cannot understand.

I really pity Ms. Sola Salako in the UK. For all her efforts, for all her good work and intentions, she was booted aside. But she is a strong woman. Yoruba women have shown from time immemorial that they are extra strong. She continued to run the original Ilana Omo Yoruba in the UK and diaspora based on the founding principles and her conviction that she is on the right path. Yoruba women are extraordinary personalities who have not been given the room to flourish. It became worse when Yoruba Nation became subdued by Fulani-terror-governed Nigeria.

It is in the same UK that you have one moron called Aremo Ogunjimi who is campaigning for the criminal called Tinubu. Aremo was pretending to be for the Yoruba Nation. Even, he joined groups supporting Sunday Adeyemo Igboho. They claimed to contribute to the Yoruba Nation and even started donations to Sunday Igboho. Now you can understand all the fusses about money and donations, especially from the UK. When people like Aremo Ogunjimi are in it, then it is criminals pretending to be Yoruba patriots. This man is now saying that there is serious money to be shared for the 2023 elections. Tinubu’s dog! What an idiot!

Whilst some of us are genuinely seeking the liberation of the Yoruba race and thinking about a place where our children can call home, some morons and criminals infiltrated our struggle and cast away the noble dreams. But the struggle continues despite the huge setbacks including the unlawful detention of Sunday Igboho by Yoruba money bags.

Ilana is in disarray. That is the truth. The Yoruba people are a great disappointment to themselves and to humanity. I am sure there are over 10 000 Yoruba groups and organizations in Nigeria and around the world. This is just my guess. The saddest saying about Yoruba is that “Yoruba will never be united”. I heard it as a baby. And now that it is gradually becoming our turn to die, I can still hear it loud and clear.

The Yoruba people, who, out of poverty of minds and through the destructions of our education, have no better way to think, but to support the 2023 elections can be forgiven. They have been mentally defeated even before birth. But there are still people old enough to recollect the glory of the Western Nigeria. Those of us who still benefitted a bit from Awolowo and Jakande should NEVER be part of the 2023 elections in Nigeria. In fact, all our thoughts and actions should be dedicated to ending Nigeria at the shortest possible time. The end of Nigeria is the freedom we seek. It is what we need if we are to get close to the glory we had up to the 1960s, before the civil war.

All Yoruba politicians still participating in Nigerian politics as governors, and all what have you, in my opinion are criminals. They are only their for their pockets because to infinity, Nigeria will never work. What will work is the final takeover of Nigeria by the uncivilized Fulani. The independence of the Yoruba Nation is not a function of the Ilana Omo Yoruba only. It is not the function of a thousand pro Yoruba groups. The liberation and the final independence of YORUBA, YORUBA OMO ODUDUWA, is a lifelong struggle on the shoulders of every OMOLUABI.

Yoruba persons like Tinubu and Obasanjo and the likes of them are like bastards. They cannot be true Yoruba. No sane Yorubaman or Yorubawoman will oppose or stand in the way of Yoruba liberation. It is not even for us, we should be thinking of our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Are they all going to relocate abroad? Is that the final solution? Shall Yorubaland be occupied by strangers including the Fulani in the next 100 years, 200 years?

All human nationalities in the world stand their ground and their territories which their ancestors left to them. We keep flying abroad. We keep participating in our own displacement and defeat. Are we normal? We are not defending and protecting the lands that our ancestors left to us. Don’t even mention Yoruba country as part of Nigeria again. Wake up from your nightmare! Don’t go there! Nigeria is a fraud. Nigeria is cursed! Did you see your citizens scooping groundnut oil from gutters? Is that the dream? Do you see millions of out of school children holding plates and begging for food, almajiris? Is that the Yoruba dream?

I am calling on all Yoruba souls out there! Yes, I mention names of people that I know are criminals. I have never given a damn about that. I remembered when my uncle called me aside and question me about Obasanjo, why I wrote that he was corrupt. Why not? Is he feeding me ni? This blog is Nigeria and probably Africa’s oldest private and long standing blog in terms of writing about one and same topic: Nigeria. From the time I had hopes to the time I now seek freedom. We should never NEVER be afraid to mention the names of those who are criminals. We should never NEVER be afraid of those we have concrete evidence against. If you know Aremo, tell him he is stupid! At his age! If I had been more engaged in Ilana Omo Yoruba, if I knew it would get to this, I would have been more involved so I can list all the Yoruba vagabonds in Ilana Omo Yoruba in Canada and USA. They split the group. They destroyed a united family. Lovers of money. Lovers of fame. Lovers of self. Awon Oloriburuku gang.

Isn’t that the problem with the Yoruba. DISUNITY. SELFISHNESS, ARROGANCE. SELF-CENTERED. GREEDINESS. STUPIDITY. Are those not the problem in Nigeria, added to the uncivilized minds of the Fulani, in a millionfold?
