The thieves from South West!

Adeola Aderounmu.

No credibility, no legitimacy. No integrity! What else do you want to know about Nigerian Politics/Politicians?

Imagine this rubbish;

“We, South-West members will like to reiterate that we are solidly behind the Speaker.”

My question is: who are these idiots-(We)?

I am from South West Nigeria and I hope other people from the south west and Nigerians in general will stand up to disown these thieves.

If Patricia is impeached or sacked as the speaker, shall we not find another person from the South west who can be the speaker? If not, please can we scrap the entire house entirely? Afterall, they are not contributing anything to our lives. They just go there to enrich themselves.

These people are a disgrace to Nigerians!

Wale Adegoke, Dave Salako, Akinlade Abiodun, Kayode Amusan, Oluwole Oke, Tayo Fawehinmi, Alaba Lad-Ojomo, Gbenga Oduwaye, Duro Faseyi, Kehinde Odebunmi, Folake Olunloyo-Osinowo, Mulikat Adeola, Titilayo Akindahunsi, Florence Akinwale, Abbas Olopoeniyan, Depo Oyedokun, Leo Awoyemi, and Segun Osibote.

They are not worthy ambassadors. Can they bend their heads in shame? Never! They have no credibility and no integrity. In fact, they are parading illegitimate mandates!

Who knows how much have exchanged hands during the 2 weeks recess? Or promises of everlasting life that they have received? Nonsense!

Please can Funke Egbemode go and sit down and look for honorable things to do with her life.Enough of this fooling around in the name of what to eat…

Etteh’s Supporters are Crazy People!

Adeola Aderounmu.

Is anyone following the ongoing stupidity in the lower house? Patricia Etteh has been investigated by a panel and the outcome will be made known and debated in the house. Decisions will follow.

The supporters of Patricia are demanding that Patricia should be the Speaker of the house when the discussion on the outcome of the panel’s investigation commences.  Is that not the usual madness I always complain about?

Why the HOUSE is divided on this issue is amazing-are there thieves in the house?

Patricia is on trial in the house and her supporters want her to be the judge!

These crazy and senseless supporters are saying that the HOUSE RULES have not stated that she must step-aside. Egba mi o!

Must everything be written? Where is common sense? Oh, I forgot! Common sense is not common; you have to think to get it.

And how would Patricia have the guts to sit and listen to people discussing about her misdemeanor? Where is honour? Where is dignity?

This is what you get in an illegitimate government. No one knows what is right or wrong! No one knows what shame is: to them, their supporters and their people- shame is a virtue.

Serious BIG problem in this wonderful country-Nigeria.

Fix My Speaker!

Adeola Aderounmu.

“You are a very stupid electrician you know!”

“I am not stupid and I am not an electrician!”

“What are you then?”

“I am an engineer. I deal with electronics. Maintenance, installation and repair. And your job is not the first job I am doing, I get my customers and my reputation bam.”

“You are just giving yourself a useless title and yet you are very incompetent.”

“If I am incompetent, why did you bring your disc changer to me to repair?”

“I did not bring my disc changer to you just like that, someone recommended you to me. And what you have done now is to destroy the recommendation that I got about you. It is people like you that will turn a colored TV to Black and white. There is no way I am going to recommend you to anybody else. Lai lai!”

“Look at what you have done, eh? I gave you a very simple task to do. I told you to fix the player head and do a general servicing.  Wait, before I go on. Did you qualify as an electrician?”

“Bros, I dey respect you o! And it is better you respect yourself too. I told you that I am an engineer. If you don’t know, after my JSS 3, I attended Technical College in Malali. And when I came back to Lagos, I also did advanced electronics at Okoko Tech Institute.”

“I told you that I will re-fix your disc changer for you, that you should give me time. This thing is brain work and I don’t want to rush your work. I know I asked you to come back for it since Friday, but I told you that my in-law died and we went to bury him on that Friday that I asked you to come. And since we came back, I have not had time to relax my condition to begin serious work.”

“But today is Thursday, and tomorrow will make it one week since you told me that you will fix the problems you have created while trying to fix the player head.”

“The most annoying thing is that the lower speaker is sounding really bad; it was not like that the first time I brought it here. I told you to solve one problem, you ended up creating more. Even sef, why didn’t you buy new player head after all the amount of money that I gave you, plus transport, plus tips?” Why you go buy tokunbo? Who tell you say tokunbo good pass new and original?”

“My guy, you really disappointed me o. I no go lie for you. You know wetin, before I go now, I want you to give me the last appointment when I will come back and these are my terms:

1.       Fix the player head as e supposed be.

2.       Do the servcing wey I tell you before.

3.       Change the rubbers on both sides so that the cassette no go dey draw anyhow and make the cassette player no dey chop the tapes

4.       The one wey dey important pass be say, me I like good sound, so the lower speaker must sound like the time I buy-am new.”

“You see now say I don dey speak the language wey me and you understand wellu wellu. You know wetin again. Na vex I take reach here. I swear na fight I carry for mind because there is no way I go even carry am go give another electrician because I don lose hope on that kind approach.”

“The speaker na im dey pain me pass, as you know, na detachable. In fact, how you manage tamper with the thing sef, I never understand! Make sure say anything wey happen, my speaker dey sound fine. Na that one be koko for me” Now tell me, when make I come back wey you go don finish all these conditions patapata. Tell me last last date because I want make e be the last time I go come here. My shoe dey chop coming here today-tomorrow like person wey dey find work for no vacancy.”

“Okay, make I no deceive you. Sincerely, you need to believe me this time. I go do your work. I go fix everything and I go impress you. The only thing wey I go talk be say, your lower speaker na special one. The connection wey the thing get to the system na new detachable-evolution. You know say Japanese people dey craze. Na everyday them dey do new product and we too dey wake-up for here. We dey shine our eyes. E get one coiled cable and 2 plugs wey dey inside the high sea system wey I go need to change. Na wetin dey affect the sound output of the lower speaker. Once I change those things, your speaker go bam! No shakings!”

“Now wetin dey be say, you go give me additional N500 make I buy the cable and plugs for Alaba International and you know wetin-I go fix everything, I promise!”

“Ok, so you want me to pay you again. I no get N500. You buy the cable, coil or no coil, and the plugs, keep the receipt and fix everything. When I come, I go give you the N500 and any balance. But which time make I come back?”

“Bros, you too correct! I believe you. The man wey sabi, sabinus! You know say we dey do Ramadan now. I get small break. So, make you come back in 2 weeks, everything go don set. Make you bring Ramadan gift for your brother o!”

“No wahala, you know Christmas is coming too. So I will join early Christmas gift too in the package, but if my disc changer is not ready, especially if the Speaker is not sounding well, na me go sack you from this workshop. I swear!”

“Bros, as you talk, no wahala, no be fight, me and you don pally now, make you go come. 2 weeks no far.”

A disastrous illegitimate government

Adeola Aderounmu.

How can the Attorney General of Nigeria write a letter to the British Police or Judiciary to let go of one of the several thieves that have looted our treasury. Is that not madness? Who is this Mike Aondoakaa sef? Where is he coming from and what is his mission? How can such a nonentity be the attorney general in Nigeria?

If Ibori stole our money and hid them in UK, why does Mike have to assist him to get away? How is that in the interest of Nigeria?

How much is Ibori paying to Aondoakaa for this kind of service?

Believe me, the fake and lousy Attorney General of Nigeria is fooling around.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

I heard that this disastrous government is planning to build a cultural centre at the cost of 53 billion naira. Nigeria is a magical country indeed! This is a country where more than 53 million people will go to bed tonight without dinner. There are more than 53 million people without decent accommodation! Yet, in the next 3 years, we may be seeing the construction of a wasteful cultural centre.

If the idiots planning this project can spend 53 million naira on the National Theatre in Surulere, they will bring that monument back to life. They will receive prayers and blessings from the Performing artists in Nigeria. They allowed the National theatre in Lagos to rot away and they are now planning to duplicate it in Abuja. Absolute madness!

The truth is, the contractors of the project and the Ministry of Culture/Tourism awarding it have already settled the kickbacks and bribes behind closed doors. Here, we have another classical example of how Politicians and public office holders enrich themselves without regards for the plights of the suffering masses.

We have not heard the last yet on the use of 628 million naira to refurbish 2 new houses. There are some stupid people who are saying that Patricia is not at fault and that she did not benefit from the contract award. So, whose house are they renovating? Or what does the word benefit means in everyday English. Mr. Bewaji, please go and sit down, but buy a dictionary first. And to think that some people will tribalise this issue is absolutely disgusting!

They should all shut up!

The Blatant Lies and Deceits of Segun Adeniyi, Mike Aondoakaa, Yar Adua and Ibori!

Adeola Aderounmu.

Sometimes, when I read statements from some politicians or public office holders in Nigeria, I just can’t help getting angry. Who is fooling who? What do these people take Nigerians for? I don’t blame their guts and stupidity at all.

Foremost, some of them will go to hell to save their jobs at all cost. They don’t mind what it takes or what it cost! They can even kill to keep their salaries going! Has anyone forgotten the den of killers!

Anyway, the attorney general has made his mission clear: to save all the corrupt people who sponsored the selection of Yar Adua in the worst election in human history.Aondoakaa, in his letter to the British (which he keeps denying) said that Ibori is not under investigation in Nigeria. What a useless comment! If Ibori is not under investigation, why can’t Mike investigate him and prosecute him? Is he not the AG? Is it out of his possibility for him to gather the evidence needed to put Ibori in jail forever?

Segun said his Master is committed to zero corruption and no sacred cow stuffs, what nonsense! We have heard that many times since 1999. How many thieves have been successfully prosecuted since they all emerged illegally in May? Please!

All these comments about the rule of law and due process are blatant lies and absolute rubbish! How will an illegal government claim to be following the rule of law and due process?

What I see here is Nigerians been taken for a ride as usual. Settle a few guys here and there and Tell the people what they want to hear and the story will die down! Yes, that is what will happen. Then, life will go on!

Corruption is the only organized thing in Nigeria and those who are in it will go to the ends of the earth to justify their very useless and pathetic ideology. This is what the Nigerian illegitimate government is doing right now.Madness in dishonored high places!

My sympathy to the people (more than 50 million) who will go to bed tonight without dinner! When Nigeria is ready, the Orange revolution will be a good concept to learn and implement. Perhaps, just perhaps we can try to usher in people with brains, good attitude, sincerity of purpose, dedication, selflessness and views of common good.
