Look at this clip and see a typical example of the people in charge of Nigeria.
The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) Obafaiye Shem.
I know that there are educated people in Lagos and everywhere in Western Nigeria. If we are to manage our own resources and affairs, we will not put a fool like Obafaiye Shem in charge of our civil defense corp.
Since his appointment is probably a national one, I can imagine that he was brought in by a fool like himself.
I mean, this man as I understand it does not know the meaning of a website. This man is a disgrace not only to his family or community but to the Nigerian government in general.
This is the kind of madness and stupidity people put up with in Nigeria. How can a man who heads a civil defence corp not know what a website is. He cannot even cite the website of the organization he heads off hand.
The w he gave was just 2 and there was no .com at the end.
Yet, he will keep his job! If he kept his job after this scandal, you should not be in doubt that What a useless country!
Nigerians love Blackberry. In 2010 when I was using my IPhone in Nigeria, it was not a fancy possession like the Blackberry phone.
A recent survey in Sweden shows a contrary trend. Blackberry is almost absent in the Swedish mobile markets. I mean you can find them in the stores but I can’t remember any advert where Blackberry has been shown on TV or billboards.
HTC, Samsung and IPhones are the dominant smartphones in Sweden. I hope Nigerians will understand that what they fancy is completely different from what swedes fancy.
I am just wondering if Balckberry has any ambition to penetrate the Swedish “crazy love for phone” market.
The most popular phones in Sweden are:
||Apple IPhone 4S
||Samsung Galaxy S2
||Samsung Galaxy ace
||Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray
||HTC Wildfire s
||Samsung Galaxy note
||Sony Ericsson Xperia arc
||Sony Ericsson Xperia active
||Samsung Galaxy Xcover

You can see that Blackberry did not even make the 10-list.
It is possible that it will not even make the 50-list. That is how unpopular Blackberry is in Sweden.
Nokia, Made in Finland, is not even on the list of the 10 most popular smartphone in Sweden.
Nokia came out with a series of smartphones recently and maybe they will be able to turn the table around again at the end of this year. But it doesn’t look likely.
This morning I decided to restore my HP laptop back to factory settings. It’s been 13 months after I bought it and I felt that it was running slower than usual.
I thought of buying a new one, that is another computer. There are quite loads of options to choose from. The feeling of owning something new can also be very warm.
But anyway the re-installation is complete and I did a lot of updating with the browser and other settings.
I’m getting the feeling close to that of having bought a new laptop and I also felt like I just saved a few bucks. I don’t know how long this feeling will last because I love buying new things.
Even my HTC Desire HD has been with me for one year and it is almost unbelievable. Only my IPhone 3GS has lasted longer, 2 years now.
This post of course is not related to anything “Thy Glory O’Nigeria..!” I think the name of my blog will remain the same while I expand the horizon. I have already been told by some readers that I have ideas about everything.
I want to write about more things. General stuffs and stuffs about Sweden. I have tried to write about many things on anonymous blogs but now I want to change that scope.
The greatest problem is the time to write about all these things but hopefully this blog will remain alive.
So why not pick up your laptop, look for the advance factory settings and do a re-installation of your system. Remember to do a backup before you start.
There are online backups and there are possibilities to do backups on external drives.
One way to also extend the life span of your laptop is to use external drives for saving your files and documents. This way you continue to have a lot of free RAM which makes your system runs faster or normal.
