It is not often I wake up on a Saturday morning to watch a Nigerian TV channel. I have high disappointment in the role of the Nigerian media in the persistent oppression of the masses by the criminals in various government houses across the country. Somehow, I got caught up with SUNRISE (9 jan 2021), a program on CHANNELS TV and I learnt a lot.

-Professor Tomori, reacting to so called prominent Nigerians undermining the coronavirus and the vaccine in Nigeria.

For this essay I would explain what 3 prominent Nigerians discussed with the presenters via video conference. These prominent Nigerians are Professor Tomori, Alero Roberts and Tunji Funsho.

At the end of this essay their names will appear as references. The essay is a mixture of their points of views and my additions.

These are what they talked about.

The Nigerian government has ordered 100 000 doses of covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer. Professor Tomori said that would be enough for 50 000 people. So, if Nigeria is a country (?) with approximately 200 million people, that means that the 100 000 doses is probably going to be rationed to the politicians and their families. Tomori also mentioned the disadvantages of ordering vaccine from Pfizer as it requires very cold temperature of minus 70 for storage. Nigeria does not have the facility for such storage. In the words of Tomori, the Nigerian government is stupid! He wondered why the Nigerian government ordered vaccines from Pfizer. In his words, Nigeria prepared for yesterday today while the rest of the world prepared for their tomorrow yesterday.

Tunji Funsho said whilst vaccination is very important, the priority now should be how to actually curb the vaccine in the next 1 year. He spoke about the need for dedication on the part of the population. “We need basic protocol to curb the vaccine”. He meant that the people must observe practices that would bring a halt to the spread of the disease.

Tunji Funsho said Nigerians should wear mask. He condemns congregations in churches or mosques. As a matter of fact, Tomori, Roberts and Funsho all were critical of the roles of churches and mosques in the continuous spread of coronavirus in Nigeria. Tomori said God is everywhere and people should sit down at home.

Tunji Funsho mentioned safe distancing even when we wear masks. He said that that the role of the government is minimal even though the government need to do more mobilization and he also emphasized the role of the media. I (Adeola) don’t know if I agree with him on the aspect of the role of the government. I think the government need to be more transparent on her dealings and to engage the people daily. In Sweden, the prime minister is drilled almost daily on issues concerning coronavirus and the health authorities organize daily media briefing during the weekdays. So, I think a Buhari in Aso rock should move his ass and address the press daily and he should answer critical questions about the safety of Nigerian lives.  

Professor Tomori dismissed as untrue or unfounded the insinuation that vaccination will reduce herd immunity in Nigeria. He said on the contrary that vaccination will increase the herd immunity.

In terms of maintaining protocols and following regulations, the three discussants were very stern with their words and warnings. Alero Roberts said:

“Stupidity kills and unfortunately stupid people are still going to die”

She said she has friends who travelled to some places and came back home with covid-19. She said some of them are now queuing up for medical attention. We should have considerations for medical workers by not exposing ourselves to the virus and by staying at home, she emphasized.  Alero Roberts said “We have a choice not to be an Obituary”

“You don’t need to go to church. You don’t need to go to the mosque. Stay at home. Keep away from indoor assembly,” she further emphasized.

While reacting to the video and messages by some prominent Nigerians urging Nigerians not to take the coronavirus vaccine, Professor Tomori said prominent or not,

Professor Tomori would want Nigeria to emulate countries that have done well with the management of the coronavirus, for example New Zealand, Taiwan and Vietnam. He said the task force in Nigeria must begin to act proactively and focus on the people. He said the task force was not doing enough to dispel wrong insinuations.

Reacting to Ali Baba’s ordeal, the discussants agree that such ordeal should occupy frontline/frontpage news not just for a day or two but for a very long time to impress it on the people about the seriousness of the virus.

“How does it affect me that Buhari went to Daura” asked professor Tomori. He thought such news should not be the headline at a time when information about coronavirus should be a priority.

The three discussants cannot see Nigerians in general getting the vaccines until the end of the first quarter of 2021.

Nigerian politicians are criminals. None of them can walk down the street. That is how unsafe they have made Nigeria for themselves and the people.

How we got here? I could have said no idea. But l know a bit of history and it would shock me if after blogging since 2006 l have not put down most or all of what l know.

What continues to shock me is the existence and persistence of Nigeria. Let me explain. Nigerian politicians are criminals. They are living “good”. In quote because they have stolen monies to splash around in Nigeria and several places around the world whereas Nigeria as a country is a disaster. No Nigerian politician can walk down the street. So, living good would remain in quote.

Those who benefit from the anomalies in Nigeria do not agree that Nigeria is a disaster. But whether they agree or not, they are in a constellation, lumped together with some of the poorest people in the world and probably the most useless government in the world as well. They can argue however or whatever they like, Nigeria and the constitution on which Nigeria is operated is a disgrace to the African race. Any Nigerian intellectual who cannot argue against the 1999 constitution is more or less a fool and a selfish soul.

The wind is the way of Nigeria. It is heading for a painful end. The wind should not be our way in Yorubaland. This is the time for Yoruba Omo Oduduwa to work together. We have a choice to steer the course of history and to change it for good.

Those who love Nigeria the way it is and the politicians live in a country plagued by some of the worst infrastructure in the world. Nigeria is decayed. There are personal and principled reasons l have not gone to Nigeria since 2018. I don’t have electricity in my home in Nigeria. The instability of the supply can result to a heart attack. I cannot drive to my house; the roads are not just there. If you live in Festac and try to drive to Agbara, you will understand my points.  Insecurity is a way of life in Nigeria. I don’t sleep well at night. I always fear herdsmen or armed robbers are around the corner. Even during the day, I always have to look over my shoulders.

Now, let’s look at the Nigerian people. How on earth can more than 180m people allow their country to go down? How on earth can the people continue to live in poverty, penury and hopelessness? How can they be so aware of the problems or pretend that they don’t exist? How on earth can more than 180 million people allow the status quo to continue? How?

There are options for Nigeria and Nigerians. When we mention revolution, some are quick to add, can you lead it? Who wants to die?

Really? Who wants to die? That is so funny and ridiculous. Nigerians are dying with very less dignity than cows, chickens and goats! They are kidnapped or slaughtered! They die in road accidents every minute of the day across the country. The police shoot them like games. The soldiers massacre them in manners only seen in war time genocide. Bandits, who are actually terrorists are having free rampages in the North especially. They kill village heads, community leaders, women, men and children. They kidnap politicians and their families. They kill at will.

And somebody is asking….who wants to die? We are all dying already! It is the degree, speed, timing and methods that vary. There are other options because a revolution may still lump up people who are so different in the end such that peace may be elusive even after doing away with the politicians and their accomplices that have brought decay all over the country.

Prior to the amalgamation of Nigeria, there are economically viable kingdoms and regions in what is modern day Nigeria. Even as late as 1966 before the 2 reckless coups by the military, the regions were still viable, progressive, independent and at pace with global development. The poverty, penury and hopelessness of Nigeria today is an indirect effect of the amalgamation of Nigeria and the 1966 coups and a direct effect of the people allowing criminals to dictate the affairs of the country.

That must stop. Resistance must be the new order.

It is time for a new order. Those of us agitating for the freedom of the nations entrapped in Nigeria need to be more aggressive. We cannot be silent and passive anymore. We cannot allow those keeping the status quo to our detriments to keep running the show. It is time for a new order of things.

The politicians and the elites holding Nigeria and Nigerians to ransom don’t care. If they do, they should know that the politics in Nigeria today does not cover the needs of the common man or woman. We can give a million reasons why we need to put an end to Nigeria.

Personally, I lend my support to the emancipation of the Easterners and I hope they put their house in order through unity of purpose and intents. If this comes by Biafra, so be it. For the Yoruba nation or the Oodua Kingdom to which l belong, it is no longer a secret that I will dedicate my time, money and positive actions to the realization of the Oodua Kingdom/Republic. I will channel my efforts primarily through the Ilana Omo Oodua group.

The United Nations is aware of our struggle for freedom. We will be moving ahead hoping to organize a referendum soon. I call on all Yoruba people all over the world to join the struggle for freedom.

We must act in unity for our strengths lie in our togetherness. This is not the time to view one group as superior to the other. This is the time to shelf all personal ambitions and glorification.

The wind is the way of Nigeria. It is heading for a painful end. The wind should not be our way in Yorubaland. This is the time for Yoruba Omo Oduduwa to work together. We have a choice to steer the course of history and to change it for good.

In recent days, running to weeks, protests have emerged across Nigeria. Mostly, young people from all works of lives are calling for an end to police brutality.

This is my first reaction to the protests. Obviously, a lot of people can’t find me on facebook because l deactivated my account during the summer and l tried so hard to stay away from it.

On twitter, l have not used the hashtag end sars for once. But on my microblog on instagram, my own hashtag still remains #ENDNIGERIA.

I am in full support of the end sars protest. However, l am also following the process as it develops because the goal definitely cannot be to end (only) police brutality and have the other situations as usual. I understand the demands have grown to 7 point agenda.

The agenda may grow to 100 point agenda for all it is worth.

As it is today, and as l have called for in the last couple of years, Nigeria must end, any demand or list of demand short of putting an end to the misery called Nigeria is half-baked bread.

Let me make my points clearer.

If you have been following my blog, it would appear that l am responsible for the end sars protest as a disguise for the calls l have made here and on my micro-instagram blog. On several occasions and very consistently and persistently, l have written that we have a long walk to freedom and we have to end the order of things in Nigeria to even begin to formulate a way forward.

The nations entrapped in Nigeria must be free, at all cost and by any means. It is the freedom of the nations within Nigeria that holds the keys to the prosperity of the regions and the people.

It won´t be eureka when the nations emerged but it should serve as the first step to securing the future of the indigenes today and the unborn generations tomorrow.

I want to live in a Yorubaland that is akin to the biblical fable paradise. I know it is a mirage to have such a dream now that l am 48. But l have nephews and nieces and l want their children and children’s children to inherit that land that l dream of.

That land is not possible under the present useless unitary system in Nigeria. That land is not possible together with other people whom l don’t share anything in common with and whose sole aim it to remain parasitic on me and suck the hell out of my existence. I need to break free before my young family members and their born and unborn children can inherit that land l dream of.

The closest thing to my dream was the Western Nigeria that existed before the 2 useless coups of 1966. Now, we have to even take more radical steps to ensure that when l break free this time, no stupid human being can rope me and my ethnic group into one useless union or country that has refused to progress for more than 60 years.

Read my blog to know my views and all the ground breaking theories l shared about Nigeria. Don’t judge my state of mind by this article alone.

If we die as Nigerians, and not as free members of the different nations entrapped in Nigeria, our lives have been wasted and we were good for nothing, just like our parents.

Nigerian politicians must not go unpunished even if the regions or nations emerge. All the useless people and politicians who have stolen our commonwealth, built houses in Dubai, London and US and who kept several billions in safe havens outside Nigeria should be punished. They should only start to think about being members of the new order in their respective nations after coughing the monies they stole. Those monies will go a long way in the rebirth of the nations.

Many politicians and military gangsters forming statesmanship ought to rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

I don’t know where end sars protests will culminate but if it does not bring about the independence of the nations and the freedom of the people, it still fall short of what l have advocated for and in my recent microblogs, l wrote that while we think that we have made progress, we have only actually deceived ourselves and before we know it, we are old and dying.

Again, let me be clear. The emergence of the nation may even lead to war and violence and fight for power and supremacy. Still, it is better than to live in perpetual slavery in Nigeria. I know it won’t be that bad because the end sars has shown that the indigenes trapped in Nigeria can actually cooperate to achieve common goals. Imagine how sweet and smoother it will be if they spoke the same language, wear the same clothes, share a common identity and a proud heritage. I think it will be much better.

I could go on as usual, because once l start to write, l drift and l almost cannot stop.

Summariy, l am with you, THE NIGERIN YOUTH. AT 48 and after many years of blogging and risking my lives coming in and out of Nigeria, it is good to leave the batton and see how you carry on.

I am with you not until the end of sars but until the end of the fraud called Nigeria. I hope to tarry long.

All the points on your agenda are what you need to take to your respective nations when you get your independence. Those points will be the start of new code of conducts for you and the people you would elect in your new nations. If the nations don’t emerge, you are going back to square one. Save this post and read it again in 2023 if you allow the useless APC and PDP to linger.

APC and PDP are criminal organisations. INEC too, is a criminal organisation. All the politicians are criminals. Sars is an offshoot of the criminal organisation called the Nigerian government. So this is beyond sars and we all know that.

I always say it is a long walk to freedom. If you stop at end sars and if the nations never emerge, the end sars protests will sustain the monsters in the system. It will bring forth new opportunists and they will be more brutal than what you have bargained for.

The freedom from Nigeria is now or never.

Nigeria @ 60. A Totally Failed Country

10 years ago, l wrote a piece that went viral/global. It was titled: Nigeria @ 50, what is there to celebrate? One would have thought that the provocations in the essay would lead to positive response and a desire to prove me (the author) wrong.

A decade later, Nigeria is worse off that she was 10 years ago. In fact, l had no desire to write this article you are reading now. Writing about Nigeria has more or less become uninspiring because the more we write, the more Nigeria heads for destruction. It´s like a freefall into a permanent jeopardy.

I am so pained about Nigeria l never wanted to associate with the name in public places. I wish that my name gives me the recognition that l am foremost a Yoruba man. I think it is time to let people wonder where the Yorubaman comes from and that, for better or worse, l would love to be called an Oduduwan.

Nigeria today, and more precisely since the year 1999 was returned to criminals in 2 major political parties, APC and PDP. For the purpose of this article, l would not be distinguishing between APC and PDP because any attempt to do so by anyone is gross stupidity.

You will have to read somewhere in my blog to find out why you should NEVER do that. But as a quick line of reasoning. You may want to answer these. In which political party was Obaseki in October 2019? In which political party is Obaseki in October 2020?

Nigerian politicians are hardcore criminals. They have only one mission, to enrich themselves and their families as well as their accomplices now and forever. The consequences are well documented. Nigeria is arguably a rich country on paper but a very impoverished country in terms of the more than 100 million people living in poverty, from hand to mouth, unsure of the next meal and contemplating vices that would sustain them.

The consequences of mal-governance and totallly stupid unitary system of governance is the near collapse of public education, the total decay of infrastructure, lack of housing policy and totally dilipitated, unmotorable roads across the entire country. Nigerians have no access to good health and they have to source for water using drilling machines or water vendors. I cannot write all the vices and the advancement of evil in Nigeria here. It is what l have done in the last 2 decades, or so.

Again, l am also quick to tell those asking me for solutions to shut up! We have given more than 1 million suggestions in the last 60 years. How many of them have been heeded! What type of solution is more important than the politicians doing the right thing! What?

What knd of solution is more important that the independent judiciary arresting criminals like Buhari, Babangida, Jonathan, Tinubu, Atiku and Obasanjo to start with? These criminals should be arrested by the police, and they should face charges ranging for crimes to humanity to outright corrruption.

If these actions are not possible and if the people cannot revolt but would rather watch and vote on BBN, then stop asking me for the solution. Let me do my part by writing on my blog.

A while ago, l wrote that my essays are no longer for this wasted generation (we have seen 3 wasted generations now) but for the unborn generations, if they choose to be free.

As the degeneration of Nigeria persists, the country is today the worst country to be born and live. A few years ago, l was the first person to define mass poverty in Nigeria but it took the plagiarism of the WHO to bring the issue to limelight. Still, we the people fold our hands and continued to ”thrive” in mass poverty.

Hopefully, it won´t take forever to know that, for countries that have not declared war officially, Nigeria is the greatest tragedy the world has seen since the end of the 2nd World War.

Often, l need to remind anyone living in Nigeria, especially those who think that they are doing fine, about the reality of their lives. As far as you are in Nigeria, you are living in poverty and you are living under poverty. It does not mater where you live or how ”stupidly” comfortable you think you are.

Nigeria as a geographical country is a country under the bondage of poverty, misery, terror, genocide and invariably war. Nigeria is the darkest country from sky. Fly at night and you will be shocked! The country has no electricity but the government charge the people monthly for services not provided. The government of Nigeria, whether APC or PDP is a criminal organisation. Who else charges or even increase the price of things that are not available?

I have no idea how many things l have lumped into this essay and how uncordinated it is. I am at work and trying to put this together. Today, there are agitations that Nigeria should be dismantled. I am 100% behind such agitations whilst l admit that it is not EUREKA.

Nigeria is a fraud. That is a fact. The major factor that would stand against the nations that may emerge from Nigeria is the people´s mentality. This mentality and way of thinking have been destroyed by more than 100 years of amalgamation and more than 60 years of stupidity by both military and civilians. So, any independence given to the regions might result to different wars. However, it seems that in the absence of the certainties that may unfold, the re-emergence of the regions is far more preferable than the slave camp that Nigeria has been since 1967 when the civil war broke out.

It is the same stupid Nigerian politicians that would dominate in the different nations that may emerge. It is the same people who prefered to fix BBN than Nigeria that would be in the regions. My point is that Nigeria faces a dilemma and there are no clear-cut solutions no matter what we do.

What must not be allowed to continue is the impunity in high places. Nigerian politicians are foolish, greedy, corrupt, senseless, merciless and possessed by demons that are insatiable in material and monetary comfort.

That free run on our commonwealth must not be allowed to continue. For me, putting a stop to that, by whatever means possible, is the most important thing that could be associated with the sorry state of Nigeria, a totally hopeless and failed country at 60.

Nigerian Government Tortures Nigerians

(My quick reactions to recent crimes of the APC govt).

In 2020 Governments around the world are seeking ways and measures to cushion the pains and agonies that came with the corona (Covid-19) pandemic.

This is not the case in Nigeria (a failed and collapsing country).

The government has increased both the price of fuel and the cost of electricity.

As with my recent posts, I would not be writing a lenghty post about this.

I have been writing about Nigeria for almost 2 decades. Posts and blogs like mine have been ignored for several years, so it´s good in a way that the things l have written in the last 13 years or so are all on this blog.

You see, let me be clear. Nigerian politicians are criminals. From the presidency to the least local government, criminals, thieves, gangsters and very useless human beings are in charge.

I read a reaction recently that those who get into the political positions are a reflection of Nigeria and Nigerians. That is also discussable.

I don´t understand why or how anything good can come from the failed country called Nigeria. Nigeria is a fraud and should be dismantled.

Really, l don´t know which of my previous suggestions l need to elaborate to make my points.

The politicians are criminals.

The system of government (Unitary system) is a disgrace to the intellectuality of the black race. To rule, serve or participate in the system of government in Nigeria, you need to be crazy, insane, mad or a combination of all. Where in the world or how in the world can such a system works?

So, you see, you have criminals running a system of government that is designed to fail. Essentially, the system is a slave-master relation. Totally insane and unbelievable.

Nigeria is not going to work and the earlier the nations within it are set free, the better for a glimpse of hope that could appear 50 or 100 years from now.

The damage in the regions will take 2 to 4 generations to fix and no region has even started to care for the coming generations. Nigeria is a disaster!

The APC government should NEVER be allowed to see out it´s tenure. By now, not only should there be revolution in Nigeria, there should also be organised forces in the regions and the Ibos and Yorubas especially should have taken back their countries.

Of course, there will be rancours and probably fight in the regions. That may be inevitable against the backdrop of how the ”Nigerian mentality” has destroyed the psyche of the people since 1966 when they were thrown into disarray and permanent enemity.

Nigerians are hiding from the reality. By the time all the criminal politicians are arrested, or defeated by a revolution, all the monies stolen at home and abroad returned, all houses and properties acquired confiscated, there would be enough motivation to ensure that these criminals never emerge or succeed in the various regions or countries that would be set free from the useless and dying Nigeria.

And one more thing that Nigerians need to do away with is the foreign religions. I don´t know how we can make it sink into the medulla oblongata of Nigerians that churches and mosques are from the colonial masters and are instruments of slavery, torture and mental slavery.

The price of fuel is up. The cost of transportation will rise further. Food stuffs are already like gold in Nigeria as plastic food flood the market from China. So the government is making life difficult and China is flooding the Nigerian market with poisons. How long will it take before hunger and deaths level the population? There is terrorism, systematic genocide and all forms of evil that kill, maim and harm people daily.

Nigeria is darkest country from the sky. A single internation flight is all you need to confirm this. There is no electricity in Nigeria but the cost of it continues to increase.

The government, APC, is the most useless anyone has seen anywhere in the world. The government is the most fraudulent (specialist in advance fee fraud). How can Nigerians continue to pay for what they don´t have? What else do Nigerians need to stage a revolution and get rid of the APC government. PDP is not even an option. They are the same with the ease they crawl like morons from one to the other.

So much for not wanting to write a lot. It´s been almost 2 decades of writing and my anger today is 100 times more than in 2002 when l wrote why politicians steal.

When Nigerians are ready for freedom, they will do away with the name Nigeria. They will do away with both APC n PDP, they will cancel Abuja politics, call their politicans home and build for themselves new countries, new nations and new hopes for now and for the unborn generations.

Freedom is never served on a platter of gold. Never!
