The killings at the tollgate in 2020 cannot be swept under the carpet.
Buhari and Buratai supervised the mass murder of young people in Lagos.
Then Buhari, in an attempt to cover up the crimes, suggested that the murderers be given ambassadorial posts. The purpose is clear. It is to give the murderers immunity and to buy time so Nigerians can forget. Nigerians are quick to move from one thing to another in the most dramatic, unexpected manner.
I have written on this blog since 2006. I hope those in search of the truth will find it useful now and in the future.
There will always be those who stand on the same side as the murderers and oppressors. We cannot change that. Humans are evil and tracherous. We do things for money, fame and selfish interests.
What I cannot live with is how majority of people called Nigerians have allowed a few morons to twist the narratives time and time again.
Daily as well, I see a lot of neutral tweets by Nigerians as if all that is going on does not bother them. I know it is hard to take a stand for fear of losing some key friendship and even your job.
Which is why I cannot trade my placement in Sweden for all the billions in Nigeria. As far as public accountability is concerned, you have to kill me first to make me turn away.
That thing called Buhari in aso rock, and all those pulling the strings for APC should be rounded up and dragged to justice.
For everyday that passes, for all the atrocities committed by Buhari and this useless APC govt, Nigeria nears her final precipice. She will tilt over in an uncontrollable design. At that point, it wouldn’t matter if you spoke the truth, if you lied or if you stayed neutral. At that point, we will all be fighting for our survival.
Is that not the instinct we could have carved a common ground for? Now we will carve an uncommon ground for it.
Like I always say, my swedish prayer: when the time comes, May the wind be your way!
The constitution of Nigeria is probably the WORLD’S MOST FRAUDULENT DOCUMENT
Help Me Understand The Nigerian Mind
By Adeola Aderounmu
Officially, I have been writing about Nigeria since 2002. This blog became operational in 2006. You are reading one of the longest standing political blog in Africa (and the world).
Adeola Aderounmu
Personally, I have swirled between hope and despair for Nigeria. I have gone from believing in the project to fully understanding the naivety of my hopes in a project programmed to failed.
Then I landed thoughtfully in my zone of preferential domain- when I left Nigeria in anger, cutting short my holiday in 2018-I vowed never to exist under the same sky at the same time a certain Buhari rules Nigeria. If I live, this would mean an exile to 2023. My reaction was a summative one, it could as well have been a response to all the collective stupidities of Nigerian politics, way of life, view of life and understanding of our existence as humans.
In 2018, my frustration with Nigeria reached its peak. You can read my blog from 2018 July, August…..probably to december where I documented my anger and reactions to a completely failed country called Nigeria.
In the most subtle form, I was one of those yearning for “Give me Oduduwa Republic” in conclusion to my blog posts few years back. It was a way to close essays highlighting the perpetual failures of Nigeria and the need to give me an alternative to battle with.
Let me tell you the reason for this headline. The probability that I have written about this before is 100% (1). PDP ruled Nigeria for 16 years and it turned out to be a complete disaster. APC has ruled since 2015 and Nigeria has gone from fire to hell.
Even if you were in doubts before 2015 as many of us were, as an adult who has functional brains, those doubts should have been cleared by now. Nigeria will NEVER make it under the current arrangement. The political system is wrong. The unitary system is a disgrace to the black race. The constitution of Nigeria is one of the most fraudulent documents in the world today.
How can any sane person be talking about participating in 2023 elections in Nigeria? How can any sane group of human beings be looking forward to prolonging the life span of the most fraudulent and most dangerous document in the world today-THE NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION?
I need help, to understand the NIGERIAN MIND.
I don’t need help to understand that many Nigerians are opportunists, pretentious, self-serving and extraordinary hypocrites. As long as things are fine/ok with them, they will continue to push the agenda that destroys other people whilst pretending to be on the same side as the people who are suffering.
This will not be a long essay. When you have written about a topic for 2 decades, you don’t state new things. Rather, you are amazed by the fact that the more people promise change, the more things stay the same or get worse.
The Nigerian Mind. If you understand it, you’ll heal the world.
This type of wonderful speech should stop please. Buhari is not going to stop his terror organisation. He is the leader and sponsor of all the terrorist groups and you want him to give executive order to stop them.
If Journalism in Nigeria is fair to us, we should by now have a list of all the other known sponsors many of whom are in active politics.
Nigeria is a failed country.
Oduduwa and Biafra republics are ready to emerge with glory.
